Four Lost Souls house concert (& art show!), Thursday, February 15

We’re proud to announce that Bloodshot recording artists Four Lost Souls will play at our place on Thursday, February 15 (a rare weekday show…doors 7PM, show 8PM).  This is the latest band put together by Jon Langford (legendary musician of the Mekons & Waco Brothers and renowned folk artist).  Langford and bandmates John Szymanski, Bethany Thomas and Tawny Newsome recorded their debut album at the legendary FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.  Glide Magazine described the band like this:

“Equal parts folk, country, R+B, and rock n’ roll, it serves as a celebration and timely reminder of true Southern culture and, more specifically, the artists and musical genres it has birthed, many of which laid the foundation for American pop music as we now know it.”

Here are links to a couple of songs you can check out:

“I Felt My Courage Fail”

“Good Time Charlie’s Got The Blues”

We will also be hosting an art show/sale of Jon’s artwork:  …awesome stuff at affordable prices, so you might want to bring your checkbook.

Suggested donation for this show is $18 adv/$20 DOS per person. As always, all this donated money goes to the band. To make a reservation, EMAIL REPLY ASAP (include number in your party).  These house concerts sometimes max out quickly, so please reply quickly if you’d like to attend.
